PAIN CONTROL
Everybody has experienced pain. Everybody has a different response to pain. This demonstrates an important principle: pain is what you make of it.
Any pain that someone feels is real.
Let's dispose of a common misunderstanding immediately - there may not be any obvious visible cause, or a cause for the pain may not be detectable by tests or investigations but the pain is there and affects the person who feels it.

Pain Control or Pain Removal
Western medicine is good at treating the physical causes, such as broken bones or kidney stones but it fails to alleviate reliably the pain of anxiety, depression or chronic conditions like arthritis without strong pain killing drugs which can have serious side affects.
It rarely treats emotional responses or belief systems about pain.
Fear increases pain. For example, if you are scared about having an injection, the pain is a lot worse. Tensing up with fear makes the pain worse. Imagine how much better it would feel if you weren't scared - instead of pain, it would be more of a discomfort.
HYPNOSIS CAN
- change beliefs
- reduce emotional response by changing the unconscious responses
- affect the physical causes of pain.
The development of a branch of science known as psychoneuroimmunology has meant that over the past 30 years, Western medicine has been catching up with what has been known in Eastern philosophy for thousands of years. In brief, it allows the mind and body to be reconnected. You can read more here.
Why limit yourself to just one way when there are lots of ways that can work together?
That's where I can help.
I CAN DIRECT YOU in ways of making the pain easier, if not completely removing it, so that you can feel more comfortable.
I can't wave a magic wand in every case and take pain away completely. If I could, that would be wonderful. However, how would it feel, I wonder, if I could help you reduce pain further?
